INFRASTRUCTURE       CO-CURRICULAR

A pathway to careers

Co-curricular activities are extremely important towards the holisticdevelopment of our children. The activities are not mere sources of recreation, but reinforce leadership, cooperation, team spirit, unity, determination, self-esteem and confidence in the students- values that are indispensable and indomitable for our citizens of tomorrow.

Indian music

painting pictures on silence

Students are welcome to train in Indian vocal music and traditional instruments. We strongly believe that apart from nurturing talent, Indian music is an ideal catalyst for children to be firmly rooted to our culture and heritage.

Western Music

what feelings sound like

Keeping pace with contemporary times and taste, western music classes are a huge source of joy and enthusiasm with our students.

Dance

music made visible

The Indian and Western Dance classes symbolise a great sense of spirit, participation and enthusiasm among our children.

Computers

the matrix methodology

To help our children fulfill their professional aspirations, we have five air conditioned computer labs (Junior and Senior) which are fully equipped with multimedia machines to provide an appropriate computer-aided education from nursery upwards.

Art / Pottery

on a kaleidoscopic spree!

Freedom of expression and indulgence in simple pleasures are important elements of a child’s personality traits.

Pottery and clay modelling classes enthuse children to explore their creativity and powers of expression. More importantly, the children thoroughly enjoy teamwork and peer interaction during these sessions.

Yoga

the fountain of youth

Yoga classes reinforce the Good Health Regime and are instrumental for the all-round growth and spiritual development of our children. Students have benefited immensely in terms of improving their powers of concentration and coping with examination fears and stress, focusing on their studies and handling pressures of examinations.

Community Service

one world, one soul

The students are sensitised to the needs of the under-privileged sections of society and the destitute. They are sent on regular social service rounds and to attend awareness programmes of sos, HELPAGE and GOONJ.

in tune with fellowship

The school is delighted to be a part of the Interact Club (an off-shoot of Rotary International) which aims at imparting training on effective leadership and enforcing strong organisational skills in teachers, students and the Class IV staff. Blood donation camps are regularly organised.
