Khaitan Public School holds Literary Week-2011

Language is an important  tool of communication and expression, KPS held  a Literary Week to mark Guru Rabindra Nath Tagore 150 Birth anniversary and instill and reinforce the love and passion for languages be it English,  Hindi,  French  and  Sanskrit. Since the week was dedicated to Tagore’s birth anniversary, his poems were recited at a recitation competition and his short stories were adapted for Hindi Laghu Natika. Students  of
Primary, Middle and Senior  wings participated enthusiastically  in Inter House Competitions such as One act play,   French Quiz,  French Poem enactment ,Hindi  Laghu Natika, Hindi & English poetry recitation, Declamation of famous columnist & leaders, English humorous plays etc. 

The most appreciated performances were presented on the Culmination of the Week. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest , Prof. Simran Miare, professor of Spanish at JNU  and an official interpreter for the President and the Prime Minister . She appreciated the creative talent of the students and motivated and encouraged them.

Principal, Mrs.S.L. Gupta welcomed the guests and appreciated the meticulous, well coordinated work put up by the students, head of the departments and their team of teachers
