ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION & CULTURAL FUNCTION AT
KHAITAN PUBLIC SCHOOL, NOIDA

KPS celebrated its Annual Day on 27th Nov.’11. It commenced with lighting of the lamp by the Guests  invoking the blessings of Ma Saraswati. Mrs.S.L.Gupta, Principal formally welcomed the Guests. The Head Boy – Shantanu Wali and Head Girl – Anshika gave a Power Point Presentation of the Annual School Report which was followed by honouring of more than 200 students for their scholastic and co-scholastic achievements by the Chief Guest Ms.Prathibha Prahlad, renowned Bhartnatyam Dancer and the Guest of Honour Mr.Arvind Gaur, Theatre Director – ASMITA Theatre Group.

The cultural bonanza presented by the students left the parents overwhelmed. Reminiscences an English Musical scripted by Ms.S.Hoda, Directed & choreographed by Mr.P.Sajeev, Ms.Shailaja, Ms.Richa and Ms.Nishat and the music produced by Mr.S.Singh was indeed a visual treat since it was a brilliant confluence of acting, dancing and singing skills presented by our students.

The Hindi department presented creatively crafted musical ballet – Mrignayani which was scripted by Ms.D.Sharma, Music given by Ms.N.Rattan and Choreographed by Ms.M.Wazir. The two productions were conceptualized by Ms.S.L.Gupta, Principal. The brilliant, creative and energetic performances of the students and the grandeur of the stage settings & props left the guests awestruck and mesmerized.
