The digital school libraries are very well-stocked ; the
children spend quality time, undertaking reference work,
picking up their favourite author, browsing through new
titles, and updating themselves through a host of journals,
magazines ranging from politics, art, science to nature,
sports and entertainment.

Here is some information that will help you to use the library
better.
We have 2 libraries in our school -
Junior and Senior. The library of our school is part and
parcel of the academic setup. It is created and maintained to
serve and support the educational activities of the school.
We have 10,000 books including both our
libraries. We have national and local daily newspapers,
magazines in adequate numbers.
In order to reach out to classrooms,
the Junior School has started with class room libraries which
consists of non-fiction and reference material. These class
libraries can be used by students under the supervision of the
class teacher.
Our School library functions as the
'hub' of all activities in the school, a place where students
come joyfully to spend some of their precious time browsing
through books in a peaceful, pleasing and inviting
atmosphere.
Library science has also been included
as one of the subjects under S.U.P.W. In this the students are
trained to assist the librarian in performing various jobs
such as stamping of new books, pasting labels, dressing the
shelves, doing minor repair of books etc.
The
school library is totally computerized with each every book being bar-coded
and even issue of books to the students is through a bar code
provided to students on their ID _ Cards.
The printed word
will never lose its relevance and excitement, whatever the
allurement that television and computer screens may hold for
humanity.
