As a mark of unstinting efforts to promote Indian Cultural arts and music, KPS organized a performance of eminent vocalist Pandit Saarthi Chaterjee on Dec.20,2011.

The event began with a floral welcome extended by the Principal to the artist and his accompanists. Pandit Chaterjee initiated his performance with an exquisite rendition of ‘Raag Allahe Bilawal’ followed by an equally mesmerising recital ‘Pyare Kanhai na maro kankaria’. Mirabai’s composition ‘Hari tune kahe ko preet lagai’ sung in the artist’s mellifluous voice provided the audience with an ethereal experience. The performance culminated with Pandit Chaterjee answering the queries of the audience regarding classical music and his performance.
